Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft DirectShow. The vulnerability is due to an error in Microsoft MPEG Layer-3 audio codecs that fail to properly handle specially crafted AVI files containing an MPEG Layer-3 audio stream. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the affected system. |
