Who is Vulnerable?
Vulnerability Description	A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft DirectShow. The vulnerability is due to an error in Microsoft MPEG Layer-3 audio codecs that fail to properly handle specially crafted AVI files containing an MPEG Layer-3 audio stream. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the affected system.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

Security Gateway R77 / R76 / R75 / R71 / R70

In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Microsoft MPEG Layer-3 Audio Decoder Stack Buffer Overflow - Ver2 protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
Install policy on all modules.
