Vulnerability Description | An arbitrary file upload vulnerability has been reported in the Dashboard component of Advantech WebAccess. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation within the uploadImageCommon(), uploadFile() or uploadBannerImage() methods in the UploadAjaxAction script. A remote, unauthenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious file and uploading it onto the target system. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code under context of the IIS AppPool. |
