Vulnerability Description | An out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in LibTIFF tiffcrop component. The vulnerability is due to the integer overflow when calculating the size of the image data from the maliciously crafted TIFF image file. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending maliciously crafted image files to an application that processes images with the LibTIFF library. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to denial of service conditions or, in the worst case, arbitrary code execution in the context of the affected application. |
