Vulnerability Description | A remote password reset vulnerability exists in Mantis Bug Tracker. The vulnerability is due to a lack of input validation on the confirm_hash parameter when verifying password reset requests. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to the affected page. Successful exploitation results in the attacker being able to change the password for arbitrary accounts. |
