Who is Vulnerable? | libssh 0.6 and later |
Vulnerability Description | An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in libssh server. The vulnerability is due to presenting the server an SSH2_MSG_USERAUTH_SUCCESS message in place of the SSH2_MSG_USERAUTH_REQUEST message. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability would allow remote attackers to gain unauthorized access into the affected system. This protection will not detect malicious traffic but instead will block connections to vulnerable versions of libssh. |
