Who is Vulnerable?	MongoDB 7.0.0 and later, prior to 7.0.35 MongoDB 8.0.0 and later, prior to 8.0.24 MongoDB 8.2.0 and later, prior to 8.2.10 MongoDB 8.3.0 and later, prior to 8.3.3
Vulnerability Description	A denial of service vulnerability in MongoDB allows attackers to cause a server crash by using $changestreams and $_requestReshardingResumeToken with the exchange option. No special privileges are needed, but the user must be logged in to issue the statement.

This protection detects attempts to exploit this vulnerability.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, click on Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

Security Gateway R81 / R80 / R77 / R75

In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the MongoDB Server Denial of Service (CVE-2026-9746) protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
Install policy on all Security Gateways.

This protection's log will contain the following information:

Attack Name: Web Server Enforcement Violation.
