Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | The Webex Meeting Manager is a client-side program that is provided by the Cisco Webex meeting service, an online collaboration suite. A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in the Cisco Webex Meeting Manager application.The vulnerability is due to a boundary error in a Cisco Webex Meeting Manager ActiveX control. To trigger this issue, an attacker may create a malicious web page that will exploit this vulnerability by passing an overly long parameter to the affected ActiveX control. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code on a vulnerable system. |
This protection will detect and block overly long parameters passed to the affected ActiveX control.
