Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the Oracle Database Server product. The vulnerability is caused by a design error in the processing of Join Views. An attacker with limited privileges may exploit this vulnerability to gain escalated privileges. Leveraging the vulnerability allows an attacker with limited read access to manipulate data inside read-only tables. The behavior of such an attack is dependent on the intention of the attacker. However, generally this will not affect the functionality of the product as a whole. |
