Vulnerability Description | Microsoft Internet Explorer is the most widely used Internet browser. An information disclosure vulnerability has been reported in the way that Internet Explorer handles content using specific encoding strings when submitting data. The vulnerability is due to the way Internet Explorer handles content using specific encoding strings when submitting data. To trigger this issue, an attacker may create a malicious web page that will cause Internet Explorer to exit unexpectedly. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow the attacker to view sensitive data stored in memory on the system. |
