Vulnerability Description | Adobe ColdFusion is a rapid application development platform that includes advanced features for enterprise integration and development of rich Internet applications. A directory traversal vulnerability has been reported in Adobe ColdFusion. The vulnerability is due to a design weakness in the ColdFusion administration console which fails to properly sanitize input passed to the admin page. A remote attacker may exploit this issue to retrieve arbitrary files from the target system via directory traversal, including the password file for the ColdFusion administration console. With this password file, an attacker can upload and execute arbitrary ColdFusion code within the security context of System. |
