Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A memory corruption vulnerability has been reported in RealVNC VNC Server. The vulnerability is due to insufficient boundary checks by RealVNC when handling certain messages sent from RealVNC clients. A remote attackerscould exploit this issue by sending a crafted VNC command ot a target server. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may lead to injection and execution of arbitrary code within the context of SYSTEM user on Windows systems and may result in abnormal termination of the VNC Server leading to a denial of service condition. |
