Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | This is a remote code execution vulnerability. The vulnerability is caused by the Microsoft Distributed File System (DFS) implementation improperly validating all fields within specially crafted DFS responses. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could take complete control of an affected system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights. |
This protection detects and block malicious DFSC commands over CIFS.
