Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A Remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by enticing an unsuspecting user to first open a specially crafted web page and then log in to the target service. A session fixation vulnerability has been reported in Oracle WebLogic Server. This is a session fixation vulnerability. The vulnerability is due to an error in the way that WebLogic Server processes session IDs, which may possibly lead to a session fixation in the affected service. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may enable an attacker to take control over the victims account, allowing him to access unauthorized information and perform actions on the victims behalf. |
