Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | An information disclosure vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG). The vulnerability is due to improper validation of user supplied URLs by the UAG server. A remote attacker could trigger this issue by sending a specially crafted HTTP request to an affected server. Successful exploitation may result in potentially sensitive information being disclosed to an unprivileged user. |
This protection will detect and block attempts to transfer malformed requests over HTTP.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, click on Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
