Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | An authentication bypass vulnerability has been reported in Cisco Network Registrar. The vulnerability is due to the usage of a default password for the administrative account. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability by logging in to the web administration console. By doing this, an attacker may gain complete access to the configuration of the affected system. |
This protection will detect and block malicious authentication requests sent to the server.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, click on Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
