Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop server. The vulnerability is due to an error in the way the application processes invalid URIs. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a malicious packet to the target service. Successful exploitation could result in arbitrary code execution, in the security context of the affected service account. |
This protection will detect and block the transferring of specially crafted HTTP POST requests to the server.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, click on Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
