Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Publisher. The vulnerability is caused when Microsoft Publisher does not properly handle values in memory while parsing specially crafted Publisher files. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability by convincing a user to open a specially crafted Publisher file, usually included as an email attachment or on a malicious web site. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the security context of the logged-on user. |
