Vulnerability Description | A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Windows. The vulnerability is due to improper handling of specially crafted media files by DirectShow filters. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability by enticing a target user to open a web page containing a specially crafted media file. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to run arbitrary code in the context of the current user. |
