Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Oracle's Database server. The vulnerability is due to an error in the way parameters are handled by the TABLEFUNC_ASOWN function in the CTXSYS.DRVDISP package. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability by connecting to the vulnerable Oracle database server and calling the TABLEFUNC_ASOWN function with a malicious parameter. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target server. |
