Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A cross-site scripting vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft SharePoint. The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the way that SharePoint handles malicious JavaScript elements contained within a specially crafted URL. A remote attacker may exploit this issue by enticing a user to click a specially crafted URL which leads to a targeted SharePoint site. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to view user information that was not intended to be disclosed. An attacker may also leverage this vulnerability to issue SharePoint commands in the context of the authenticated user on the targeted SharePoint site. |
