Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Sun Java SE Runtime Environment. The vulnerability is due to insufficient boundary checking in Sun Java SE Runtime Environment. A remote attacker may use the Black Hole Toolkit v1.2.3 to exploit this issue by sending specially crafted .jar files to the victim. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system. |
This protection will detect and block the Black Hole Toolkit v1.2.3 Java array exploit attempts.
