Vulnerability Description | A stack buffer overflow has been reported in Cisco WebEx Player. The vulnerability is due to an error in the Cisco WebEx Player that fails to properly handle specially crafted WRF files. A remote attacker could trigger this flaw by convincing a victim to open a malicious WRF file. Successful exploitation of this issue may allow execution of arbitrary code on a vulnerable system. |
This protection detects and blocks the transferring of WRF files over HTTP.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, click on Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
