Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A heap buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Novell Netware. The vulnerability is due to the mishandling of the parameter string Caller Name by the application. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted NFS lockd request to a vulnerable server. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges. |
