Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | An elevation of privilege and cross-site scripting vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft SharePoint. The vulnerability is due to an error in the way Microsoft SharePoint handles specially crafted URLs containing malicious JavaScript elements. A remote attacker may exploit this issue by enticing a target user to open a specially crafted web page. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability will allow an attacker to read content which was not intended to be disclosed. An attacker may also be able to issue SharePoint commands in the context of an authenticated user. |
