Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | An SQL injection vulnerability has been reported in Symantec Web Gateway. The vulnerability is due to insufficient sanitization of the id HTTP parameter in GET requests. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted HTTP request to the vulnerable server. Successful exploitation will allow an attacker to execute SQL commands on the server, possibly resulting in a DoS condition or sensitive information disclosure. |
This protection will detect and block specially crafted HTTP requests sent to the server.
