Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in HP iNode Management Center. The vulnerability is due to insufficient boundary checking while copying user-supplied data into a stack buffer when handling certain messages. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending specially crafted messages to the target server. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target. |
This protection will detect and block the transferring of specially crafted messages to the server.
