Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | An integer underflow vulnerability has been reported in Novell GroupWise Internet Agent. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of a certain value in HTTP requests. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a maliciously crafted HTTP request to the target server. Successful exploitation would result in code execution in the security context of the affected server. |
This protection will detect and block the transferring a maliciously crafted HTTP request to the target host.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, click on Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
