Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP). The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of certain fields while parsing XWD files. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by enticing a victim to open a specially crafted XWD file. Successful exploitation could result in injection and execution of arbitrary code, within the security context of the current logged in user. |
