Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A buffer overflow was reported in the apache_request_headers() function in PHP. The vulnerability is due to the insecure handling of the HTTP headers. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted HTTP request to the target server. |
The protection will detect and block specially crafted HTTP requests.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, click on Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
