Vulnerability Description | A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Mozilla's Firefox, Thunderbird, and SeaMonkey products.The vulnerability exists in the nsWaveReader::DecodeAudioData function when processing WAV files. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by enticing a target user to view crafted web content. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability would possibly result in execution of arbitrary attacker code on the target system in the security context of the user running the vulnerable application. |
