Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A stack buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Apple QuickTime. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of alis volume names in dref and rdrf atoms. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by enticing an unsuspecting user to download and process a malicious QuickTime file. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can result in the execution of arbitrary code within the context of the currently logged in user. |
