Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in IBM Personal Communications. The vulnerability is caused by improper bounds checking in pcspref.dll. By enticing a target user to open a specially-crafted WorkStation (.ws) file, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the current user or cause the application to crash. |
