Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | An information-disclosure vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft XML Core Services. The vulnerability is caused when Internet Explorer does not properly enforce cross-domain policies, allowing an attacker to access content from different domains. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability by hosting a specially crafted website that is designed to invoke MSXML through Internet Explorer. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could read files on the local file system of the user or read content of web domains where the user is currently authenticated. |
