Vulnerability Description | Microsoft Internet Explorer is the most widely used Internet browser. A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer 7. The vulnerability occurs when Windows does not correctly handle specially crafted URLs or URIs that are passed to it. There are a number of known attack vectors for this vulnerability; this protection is against the Adobe Acrobat Reader attack. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows execution of arbitrary code on a vulnerable system. |
