Who is Vulnerable? | Apple QuickTime prior to 7.7.5 |
Vulnerability Description | A stack buffer overflow vulnerability exists in Apple QuickTime. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation on the length of font names when parsing atoms. A remote unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by enticing the target user to open a specially crafted file with the affected application. Successful exploitation could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the currently logged-in user. |
