Vulnerability Description | A denial-of-service vulnerability has been found in PowerDNS Recursor. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of DNS queries. A remote unauthenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending maliciously crafted DNS queries to a vulnerable server. Successful exploitation would result in a crash of the server process leading to denial of service to legitimate users. |
