Who is Vulnerable? | Advantech WebAccess prior to 8.0 |
Vulnerability Description | A stack buffer overflow exists in Advantech's WebAccess SCADA software. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of the ip_address parameter contained in the webeye.ocx ActiveX control, a part of the WebAccess Client. A remote, unauthenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability by enticing a vulnerable user to open a crafted web page. Successful exploitation could lead to code execution in the context of the target user. |
