Vulnerability Description | Advanced Deface Page Maker is a computer program that allows users to create HTML pages, in order to upload them to web servers and deface them. This tool is commonly used by attackers, and therefore upload of files created by this tool may indicate an attempt to deface a web server. |
This protection will detect and block uploads of files created by this tool.
In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, click on Protection tab and select the version of your choice.
This protection's log will contain the following information:
Attack Name: Web Server Enforcement Violation.
