Who is Vulnerable? | |
Vulnerability Description | A memory corruption vulnerability exists in Oracle's Java Runtime. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation on ShortComponentRaster.verify() method parameters which will lead to bypassing of "dataOffsets[0]" boundary checks when the "numDataElements" field is 0. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by enticing a user to open a malicious webpage. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can result in the execution of arbitrary code within the context of the currently. logged in user. |
