Who is Vulnerable?	Windows 8.1 Windows RT 8.1 Windows 10 Version 1511 Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems Windows Server 2012 Windows Server 2012 R2
Vulnerability Description	Multiple elevation of privilege vulnerabilities exist in the Windows VHDMP kernel driver. The vulnerability is due to the way driver fails to properly handle user access to certain files. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by gaining access to the local system and executing a specially crafted application on the system.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, click on Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

Security Gateway R80 / R77 / R75

In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the Microsoft Windows VHDFS Driver Elevation of Privilege (MS16-138: CVE-2016-7224) protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
Install policy on all Security Gateways.

This protection's log will contain the following information:
