Who is Vulnerable? WordPress Project AYS Popup Box prior to 3.6.3
Vulnerability Description A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability exists for the WordPress plugin AYS Popup Box. This vulnerability is due to improper input validation of upgrade_plugin in class-ays-pb-admin.php.Successfully exploiting this vulnerability could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the victim's browser.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, click on Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the WordPress AYS Popup Box Plugin Cross-Site Scripting (CVE-2023-4137) protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all Security Gateways.
