Vulnerability Description An SQL code execution vulnerability exists in ManageEngine OpManager. This vulnerability is due to the use of hardcoded credentials and insufficient validation of request parameters in HTTP requests to the servlet.By sending crafted requests to an affected server, a remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary SQL commands with privileges which can further lead to arbitrary code execution in the security context of System.

In order for the protection to be activated, update your Security Gateway product to the latest IPS update. For information on how to update IPS, go to SBP-2006-05, click on Protection tab and select the version of your choice.

Security Gateway R81 / R80 / R77 / R75

  1. In the IPS tab, click Protections and find the ZohoCorp ManageEngine OpManager SQL Code Execution (CVE-2015-7766) protection using the Search tool and Edit the protection's settings.
  2. Install policy on all Security Gateways.
